We faced a tough match today, falling short against a strong Team Mike McEwen. Despite the outcome, we gave it our all and put up a fight, but sometimes the game doesn’t go your way. It’s part of the sport, and we’ll take away valuable lessons from this experience.

The level of competition was high, and Team McEwen certainly brought their best to the ice. They executed well, and while we had our moments, it wasn’t quite enough to secure the win. We’ll take this as an opportunity to learn and improve for the next challenge.

With this loss behind us, we’re already looking ahead to what’s next. Our focus now shifts to the Grand Slam of Curling HearingLife Tour Challenge in Charlottetown, PEI. It’s a quick turnaround, but we’re ready for the challenge that lies ahead. The team is motivated, and we’re eager to bounce back stronger.

Charlottetown has always been a great place to compete, and we’re excited to be heading there. The Grand Slam of Curling events always bring out the best competition, and we’re looking forward to testing ourselves against the top teams once again.

The support from Curling Canada and everyone involved in organizing the event has been incredible. It’s never easy to host a tournament, but they’ve done an amazing job ensuring everything ran smoothly. A big thank you to all the volunteers and staff who made it possible.

We’re fortunate to have the backing of our incredible sponsors, who allow us to compete at the highest level. Pennecon, Kubota Canada, and Maple Leaf Foods, among others, have been instrumental in our journey, and their support means the world to us.

North Atlantic and Orangestore have also been long-time partners, and we’re proud to represent them on and off the ice. Their belief in our team is something we never take for granted, and we’re determined to make them proud with our performances.

Eastlink and Connect Hearing Canada have helped us stay connected, both on the ice and with our fans. The ability to communicate with supporters and share our journey is so important, and their contributions make that possible.

Oxford Frozen Foods Limited and Hardline Curling continue to play a key role in keeping us equipped and ready for competition. The right gear and preparation are critical to success in curling, and their partnership ensures we’re always ready to perform.

Asham and RMS provide us with top-notch equipment, allowing us to compete at the highest level. Their products are trusted by curlers worldwide, and we’re proud to use them during every event we compete in.

As we head to Charlottetown, we’ll take with us the lessons learned from today’s match. Every loss is a chance to grow, and we’re confident that we’ll come out stronger. The journey continues, and we’re ready for whatever comes next.

Thank you once again to Curling Canada and everyone who supported us throughout the tournament. We’ll see you all in Charlottetown for the next chapter of this exciting season!
