As the 2024 Olympics approach, several U.S. colleges are sending a significant number of athletes to Paris. Topping the list is Stanford University, with 51 athletes, followed by the University of Southern California (USC) with 44, and the University of Michigan with 42. The University of Florida and the University of California, Berkeley, are also notable contributors, sending 40 and 39 athletes respectively.
Other prominent institutions include the University of Texas with 30 athletes, Louisiana State University (LSU) with 28, and the University of Tennessee with 27. The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and the University of Arkansas round out the top ten, contributing 24 and 23 athletes each.

According to the U.S. Olympic Committe, 75% (444 athletes) competed collegiately at 169 schools.
Stanford leads the way with 38 athletes. The school, which will begin competing in the Atlantic Coast Conference this fall, is known as a powerhouse in Olympic sports.
Texas ranks second with 17 athletes and California — another new ACC team — has 16.
